SOLARIZATION

Solarization is a technique of sterilization of the soil obtained through a very high warming of soil temperatures as a result of solar radiation. To achieve effective solarization in a relatively short time it is necessary to use a ground cover with films that are able to maintain as high temperatures as possible over time.

Agriplast is able to produce 3 different products with different characteristics.
SOLARIZATION® a classic thin and transparent sheet that allows a very rapid rise in the soil’s temperature.
THERMODISOL® a transparent polyethylene sheet with the addition of special mineral charges that greatly increases the ability to maintain heat in the ground.
AGRIGREEN®, a green sheet that combines the advantages of a solarizing sheet with those of heating photo-selective mulch that can be used during an entire crop cycle.
HT SUPERSOL® and HT SUPERGREEN® are the transparent and green photo-selective sheets that thanks to their special formulation have the highest heating capacity on the market and therefore allow to reduce the time for soil’s solarization.
