SOLARIS® thermal films are made by particular polymeric resins containing EVA co-polymer and the addition with MINERAL FILLERS as well as the special additive UV-Stop® . This special additive reduces drastically the activity of the
deseases carrier insects acting inside the greenhouses, bringing them to a disorientation through the removal of particular UV radiations of the solar spectrum which are blocked by the special and effective additive UV-Stop®. This ormulation, allows also to maintain a high Light Transmittance to visible radiations in addition to a perfect Light Diffusion inside the greenhouse. In such a way, it maintains optimal conditions of luminosity for photosynthetic activity, inhibiting those temperature peaks which can bring to the phenomena of “black spots” (leaves burning).
The main characteristics of the SOLARIS® film are:
• Light Transmittance: thanks to the type of mineral fillers used an optimal light transmittance and an ideal Light Diffusion for any crop in any climate condition are achieved.
• Greenhouse Effect: very high because the special basic formulation –EVA- and the MINERAL FILLERS. The addition of special fillers permits the control of the highest and lowest temperatures and provides the plants with a more constant
microclimate, reducing to the bottom the vegetative blockage connected with the highest daily and lowest nightly temperatures.
• Photo selectivity: blockage of the UV because the presence of UV-Stop® and the presence of thered degrading color.
SOLARIS® films are made in accordance with the prescriptions issued by the European Normative EN 13206 for “Diffused Light Thermal films” Notice: the UV-Stop® additive could affect the activity of the pollinating insects.

With reference to the life of the film according to EN 13206, SOLARIS® is made in the following versions:
SOLARIS® 150 – Classe B
SOLARIS® LUNGAVITA – Classe D
SOLARIS® LUNGAVITA PLUS – Classe E
